mCAM

mCAM is a software package designed for advanced automated 3D manufacturing of parts and assemblies from 3D shapes (pipes, profiles, domes, elbows,..) as well as flat sheet. Cutting plans for single elements are created directly from 3D solid models which are imported in the commonly used STEP or IGES formats. The program also supports cylindrical folding of flat patterns from 2D DXF and micro joints on long cutting paths. Automatic nesting on pipes and profiles ensures high utilisation of material. mCAM offers an opportunity to process any imported 3D model generated by commonly used CAD software and create custom libraries of often used parts including graphic visualizations and previews. Well-arranged user interface allows simple, high effective and high precision manipulation and settings of particular cutting paths, lead-ins/-outs. Software also contains the CNC simulator where generated NC code can be simulated and the details of cutting paths can be checked. Along with its independent version, mCAM is also developed for integration into MPM system and/or direct interfacing with onsite ERP systems.
